Inuyasha"s actor revealed in costume for live-action stage play adaptation

Rumiko Takahashi (Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura)’s bestselling InuYasha manga is getting adapted into a live-action stage play. And to hype things up, they have now revealed rocker and actor Yutaka Kyan from the visual kei band, Golden Bomber, in costume as Inuyasha himself!

Several cast members were also revealed, including two Nogizaka46 idols. Yumi Wakatsuki will play Kagome Higurashi, while Junna Itou will play Kikyou. The other cast members include Hiroki Sana as Sesshoumaru and Yukihiro Takiguchi as Miroku.

The play will be held at The Galaxy Theatre in Tokyo from April 6 – 15, 2017. However, this won’t be the manga’s first stage play adaptation, as a first one ran back in 2000, while a second play was shown in 2001.
