Moonies rejoice! Because the Pretty Guardians, the Official Fan Club for the Sailor Moon franchise, is officially expanding overseas. The fan club has access to many exclusive Sailor Moon-related events, merchandise and goodies, and finally, countries like Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam are going to be able to join in on the fun and show off some Moon Pride!
Otaku Mode has opened a registration page for Pretty Guardians, and interested applicants can apply through this link. Registration begins on September 23, 2016.
The international edition might be a bit different from its Japanese counterpart, however, they will try to be like the Japanese edition as much as possible. According to the registration page, “as far as possible, delivers the same service as the Japanese fan club.” However, joining the fan club is not free, as members must pay 5,500 yen when joining.
The countries that will be included in the international expansion include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam.
