[VIDEO] Even Professor Oak gets an "Alola Form" in new Pokemon Sun and Moon video

A lot of Pokemon from Gen I have gotten an Alola form in the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon games, from Vulpix, Ninetails, Sanshrew, and Sandslash getting an Ice-type make-over to Marowak finally getting it’s long-overdue Ghost-type to of course, the ever-memetic Alolan Exeggutor. Now thanks to a new Pokemon trailer released in Japan, it also seems that Professor Oak is also getting one!

The video actually features a lot of the cool new additions in the game, from the Alola forms to Pokemon riding, to Team Skull, to the new Pokemon species, to the new Legendary Pokemon, Lunala and Solgaleo, however, what fans have all been talking about is a dark-skinned fellow who looks like a certain professor who lives in Kanto’s Pallet town.

While Kanto’s Professor Oak is named Samuel Oak, the English version of the Sun and Moon games are naming this “Alola Form” Samson Oak, and the two of them are actually cousins.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will both be released on November 18, 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS. This will be for both Japan and North America, as the European release will be on November 23, 2016.
