[VIDEO] Shoujo anime, Orange, is getting a sequel movie

Shoujo anime, Orange, which is based on Ichigo Takano’s bestselling and critically-acclaimed shoujo manga, just wrapped up its final episode, and that very episode ended with a special announcement, which revealed that the anime is getting a sequel, but it won’t be a TV anime, but an anime movie.





According to the announcement, the sequel movie will be titled Orange -Mirai-, and it will be retelling the main story from Suwa’s point of view, and will be continuing it with a brand new original story written by manga series creator, Ichigo Takano. The film is slated to premiere for a limited 2-week engagement starting November 18.

It was also revealed that the staff from the TV anime will also be returning for the sequel movie, with Naomi Nakayama now serving as the chief director. More details on the anime will be revealed soon.
