The One Year War is one of the most important events for any Gundam fan, as it started the entire Gundam franchise. It introduced us to plenty of unforgettable characters, like Amuro Ray, Char Aznable, Sayla Mass, Lala Suneh, Ramba Ral, and many more.
Sunrise recently released a “documentary” short video about the One Year War titled “Gundam Behind the Front.” It features what has happened to the lives of two of the conflict’s survivors, an engineer from the Principality of Zeon and another engineer, this time from the Earth Federation.
The video was made by Japanese media arts studio, Rhizomatiks, and was first shown during the Sunrise Festival 2016 event last August. Many of the displays featured in the video are exhibits from Gundam Front Tokyo in Odaiba.
