There is a new Metal Gear game coming out called Metal Gear Survive, and with popular video game designer, Hideo Kojima’s bitter exit from Konami, many already know that he is not involved in the project. However, it seems that there are rumors that he is somehow involved with the project. The official Kojima Productions twitter page quickly shot down those rumors with this tweet:
MGSurviveは監督のアイディアだという説をネットで見ましたが。「違います。全く関わってませんし、知りません。あくまで僕にとってですが、MGSはエスピオナージであり、ポリティカル・フィクション(続く)

According to the tweet, Kojima doesn’t know anything about Metal Gear Survive and that the rumors are incorrect. Kojima has stated that for him, Metal Gear Solid is about espionage, and is more of a political game.
And while Kojima Productions has been busy busting some rumors, Kojima himself has been busy promoting his upcoming PS4 game, Death Stranding. During the Tokyo Game Show, Kojima hinted that the game will be released in 2018.
Kojima has stated that Death Stranding will be having online gameplay, and will also be “fully playable” in single player, as well as introducing a “new for of co-op play.”.
Straight from the event: Death Stranding will feature a new form of co-op play but will of course be fully playable in single player.

The game will feature The Walking Dead actor, Norman Reedus, and will feature an open world. More details about the game will be revealed in the future.
