Takumi Hiiragi-Boshi’s fantasy light novel series, Absolute Duo, will be getting itself an anime adaptation. This was announced during yesterday’s Media Factory Bunko Summer School Festival event.
The upcoming anime’s official website has also been opened and it features artist Yuu Asaba’s original light novel illustrations on one side, and the upcoming anime’s artwork in the other. A PV for the upcoming anime has also been uploaded.
Absolute Duo follows Tooru Kokonoe, a boy qualified to handle a Blaze. The Blaze are weapons which are the manifestations of a humans soul, a Tooru’s is a shield. He is then enrolled in a school Blaze handlers where he gets paired up with a mysterious silver-haired girl.
The animation will be produced by 8-bit and more information about this new series will be announced in the future.
