Women often come up with a variety of opinions regarding other women’s figures and can often tell who’s hot and who’s not when it comes to the same gender as opposed to men. Japanese E-Book website E-book Japan has recently asked its female customers aged 20 – 30 which character from anime and manga do they think has the best figure out there.
With 454 valid responses, the results are finally in and here they are:
10) Nana Osaki (Nana)
9) Yori Iwatani (Ane No Kekkon)
8) Nico Robin (One Piece)
7) Sumire Iwaya (Kimi Wa Pet)
6) Ayumi Yamada (Honey and Clover)
5) Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan)
4) Amir Halgal (Otoyomegatari/ A Bride’s Story)
3) Lum Invader (Urusei Yatsura)
2) Nami (One Piece)
1) Fujiko Mine (Lupin III)
In Japan, Lupin III’s Fujiko Mine gas been synonymous with having a “nice body” as the legendary manga character is treated as a sex symbol there.#3 ranked Lum Invader meanwhile is considered the first “Otaku Dream Girl” in history so it is absolutely no surprise she is included in the list, as well as Mikasa Ackerman whose abs can rival those six packs from the swimmers of Free!
As the poll asks only women, it comes to no surprise that Shoujo and Josei manga characters would be making a major appearance in the top 10, the highest of whom is #4 ranked Amir Halgal from A Bride’s Story who many manga fans, not only in Japan, have considered one of the sexiest women in manga.
