Tekken 7 confirmed!!!!! However, the announcement seems to have gotten ahead of the official one as a video was leaked via AOL before Tekken Project development team lead Katsuhiro Harada was supposed to make the official announcement later today.
The Tekken creator was supposed to announce the game during EVO 2014, however, an IGN news video was leaked before he can even make it. According to the leaked video, the game will be launched for current-gen consoles and will be powered by Unreal Engine 4. you can watch the leaked AOL video through this link
Harada was also quoted several times about the use of Unreal Engine 4 during the video:
With Unreal Engine 4, we can rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platforms and go beyond it,” Harada was quoted as saying.
Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it also allows us to bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire.
Well, that seems really exciting, right? I wonder who will be the new characters who are going to be introduced in the new Tekken 7 game?
