The Kingdom Hearts orchestra will once again be thrilling fans with music inspired by the games, and this time, they are taking their show to six different countries, across three continents, with a total of 15 performances. The concert tour will kick off in Japan, before heading to France, the United Kingdom, Singapore, China, and the Unites States.
The musical shows will actually start with a brass and wind ensemble called Kingdom Hearts Concert -First Breath-, which will first hit Tokyo with two shows, starting August 11, before heading to Nagoya on August 27, and then finally heading to Osaka on the next day, August 28.
But come 2017, the real action starts, as the actual orchestral concert for the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- will first be performed at the Tokyo International Forum in March 10, 2017. They will then hold two performances in Paris, France from March 18 – 19, 2017, at the Salle Pleyel, before heading to London’s Central Hall Westminster from March 24 – 25, 2017. They will then return to Asia in May, to perform right here in Singapore’s Esplanade Concert Hall, from May 6 – 7, 2017, before heading out to Shanghai, China on May 28, 2017, at the Mercedes Benz Arena. Finally, they will head to North America, with a concert inside Los Angeles’s Dolby Theater on June 10 and 14, before heading to New York’s United Palace Theatre on June 24, 2017. Advance tickets for the international performances will open on April 30, 2016.
The Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- will be playing songs from the Kingdom Hearts games, and will be accompanied by a projection featuring scenes from the games themselves. This includes not only some artwork, but graphics as well. It is part of the franchise’s 15th anniversary celebrations, as Kingdom Hearts was first released for the PS2 back in 2002.
