Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin III – Dawn of Rebellion is premiering later this month, on May 21, and the series, together with ANIMAX and JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), have all teamed up to create the Gundam: The Origin Technology Labo, which attempts to recreate the various space phenomena featured in the anime.
The scientists and engineers who are working on this project are self-described “grown-up Gundam Fans” from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), and they work on fields like space engineering and robotics engineering, and they are now pulling their talents together to display the appeal of advance space technologies. That and try to do some of the awesome space scenes from Gundam the Origin.
More announcements about this scientific project from Gundam, Animax, and JAXA, will be revealed in the future, so stay tuned.
