This is how "Listen to me, Girls. I am Your Father!" and "Mayoi Neko Overrun!" novelist"s memorial service was held

When ‘Listen to me, Girls. I am Your Father!’ and ‘Mayoi Neko Overrun!’ light novel author, Tomohiro Matsu, passed away at the age of 43, many fans were quite saddened, however, it seems that the author will be sent off in style, as his funeral has been themed with his two greatest works.

During the author’s memorial service, the song “Happy New Nyaa” from the anime adaptation of Mayoi Neko Overrun! was played, while his own casket was decorated with illustrations from his colleagues. Guests were even allowed to take pictures of the casket, which is a good way for people to keep his memory alive.

Now that is how you say goodbye!

Matsu passed away due to an unspecified sickness last May 2, 2016. Though he has completed his two most well known novels in Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father! and Mayoi Neko Overrun, he passed away without completing Hatena Illusion, which would remain unfinished at four volumes. His final published work was a novel released last January, and it is titled Isekai Kazoku Hyōryūki Fushigi no Shima no Elza.

The DX Bunko editorial department and the Comiket Staff, who the late author has worked with, have also mourned his loss.
