Sakamoto is #1, and we are not surprised at all, as the overpoweredly cool high school student has charmed his way to #1 with sheer amounts of SWAG. Yes folks, that SWAG is enough to beat out other favorites like Re:Zero, And you thought there is never a girl online?, Macross Delta, and Bungou Stray Dogs, who all made it to the Top 5 as expected.
Coming into the Spring 2016 season, My Hero Academia and Ace Attorney were both expected to be very popular among the fans, however, both series did not even make it to the Top 10, while Haifuri and Twin Star Exorcists, both of which have proven to be fan favorites, also failed to make it to the Top 10 as well.
