Yamaha’s new Vocaloid is called Galaco and this time, Kou Shibasaki is lending her vocal talent to the latest voice synthesizer.
Galaco was originally designed by illustrator Jiro Tomioka. She has two voice databases: Galaco RED and Galaco BLUE.
Both the physical and downloadable formats of VOCALOID3 Library Galaco NEO will be available next month, with the latter to be released on August 5. This software is priced at 17,280 JPY (212.07 SGD).
Actress and singer Kou Shibasaki rose to fame when she played the seductive antagonist Mitsuko Souma in Battle Royale. She also made her Hollywood debut in the 2013 film 47 Ronin.
