Volleyball anime Haikyuu has certainly filled the shoes left behind by fellow Shounen Jump! sports anime Kuroko’s Basketball, and the anime has recently collaborated with Ikebukuro’s Animate Cafe for a very Haikyuu theme.
The Volleyball spikers of Karasuno High School took center stage in the cafe’s theme and were seen in the walls, ceilings, and tables of the cafe.
There were also plenty of Haikyuu figures and merchandise on display.
Aninmate Cafe Ikebukuro also offers a Haikyu!!-themed menu which includes the Shouyou egg rice bowl, the Kageyama Curry, and many more. The food menu items costs 852 yen, the desserts cost 649 yen and the drinks cost 463 yen.
Animate Cafe’s special Haikyuu theme will only be until July 30, 2014.
