To celebrate the announcement of Monster Hunter 4G (or Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate), Capcom has recently held the MH4G Hunting Rival event over at the Bellesalle Akihabara where Monster Hunter fans flocked to see the new announcements.
One of the biggest head turners was right outside the venue where fans got to see a new Monster Hunter armor and weapons which are made from a new monster which will be introduced in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. This new monster is considered the new game’s main monster and has still not been revealed thus far.
Speaking of Monster Hunter weapons, fans also got to pose with some of them.
Also found outside was a Monster Hunter kebab joint, and near it, fans got to experience what it is like to have a Monster Hunter-style roast.
There were also several Monster Hunter displays seen at Bellesalle Akihabara.
Meanwhile, inside the event’s venue, Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Kaname Fujioka went on stage to make several announcements about the game.
They announced that new skills will be added in the game, including “trend skill” and “Jump”. The two also announced that along with some new monsters, the game will introduce several new subspecies like the Zamtrios, Najarala, Kecha Wacha, Seltas, Seltas Queen, and many more.
They also introduced a new promotional movie for the game which will be released for the Nintendo 3DS on October 11, 2014 in Japan and Early 2015 for the rest of the world.
