Moe anime Is The Order a Rabbit? has proven to be one of Spring 2014′s most popular series. The anime about girls working in a cafe has announced they will be collaborating with one in the real world as the series teams up with the Honey Toast Cafe in Akihabara to serve fans a special menu.
The collaboration, titled “Is the Order a Honey Toast?” plays with the traits of the series’ main characters. The menu items include a Chino Neopolitan which is served with a tortilla chip shaped like the anime’s mascot, Tippy. The pasta is served with plenty of vegetables for the vegetable-hating Chino to eat and it costs 880 yen.
Chiya meanwhile takes her weird food naming sense into the collaboration with the “Golden Shachihoko Special” parfait which costs 900 yen. The Tippy Bun, which is a bun which looks exactly like Tippy himself costs 400 yen.
Finally, the five main cast members each get their own drinks, with each drink costing 500 yen. Like the food menu, the drink menu also plays with some of the characters’ traits like Cocoa getting an iced cocoa drink while Sharo, who works in an herb tea cafe gets an iced herb tea.
Customers who purchase an item from the collaboration menu will be getting a special “Is the Order a Rabbit?” postcard as a special gift. There are five postcards to choose from, namely Cocoa, Chino, Rize, Chiya, and Sharo.
The anime has gotten quite a few collaborations with restaurants and cafes. They teamed up with Takumen for a collaboration titled “Is the Order a Ramen?” while Schatzkiste Cafe also offered a few drinks inspired by the anime’s characters
