Luffy and Usopp engage the Marines in a water battle inside Universal Studios Japan

Universal Studios Japan has finally started their One Piece Premiere Show 2014 and it featured Luffy and Usopp battle the dreaded Marines in an activity which is perfect to combat the raging summer heat – a water battle!

The duo from the Straw Hat Pirates enlisted the help of the crowd as they engaged several members of the marines who are after them. The audience members were armed with water guns and made the Marines pay by giving them a very wet and watery punishment. As the show began, the Marines asked the audience if they saw any pirates. They then engaged Usopp who was sneaking around before Luffy joined in after a grand entrance on top of one of the buildings.

Luffy then made his way down and then the water battle finally commenced with everybody, Luffy and the crowd included, completely soaked. Looks like bringing a change of clothes when watching these shows is completely necessary.

The show took place in Universal Studios Japan’s San Francisco area which was seemingly taken over by the Marines. The Marines logo can be seen everywhere.

The Straw Hat Pirates however have taken over one of the dining areas which have completely taken the One Piece motif. Usopp and Brook were also present and they entertained the diners as they ate.
